Swing
There are many forms of swing dancing including East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, DC Hand Dancing, and dozens of others, but, Lindy Hop, the original swing dance, is still popular around the world. Born in Harlem, New York in the 1930s. It was danced to swing jazz, the most popular music in the United States from the 30s to the 50s, which ranges from slow and sultry to groovy to blazing-fast and energetic.
