Casi Goodman

Casi grew up immersed in music of many styles, especially jazz. She spent many years developing her skills in fiddle, singing, acting, and visual arts before ultimately deciding to pursue a career in engineering.

While studying at the University of Washington, Casi found lindy hop at the university’s swing dancing club. The combination of jazz, performance, and personal expression enamored her immediately, and she’s been in love ever since.

When she is not dancing, Casi now runs her visual art business full time (www.casigdesigns.com). She especially loves to paint dancers who have had an impact on jazz dance history, and uses her business to celebrate the rich and expansive history of jazz.
