Yasmeen Zahar

Yasmeen has always loved and appreciated music and dance, and is passionate about making dance feel supportive and inclusive to all. She hopes her students find safety and healing in class, and take the time to slow down and enjoy the time to connect to themselves and their community. Yasmeen has trained in Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Peru, and the United States primarily in Traditional Bachata, Casino, and Salsa On1. They also have experience in and enjoy incorporating learnings and movement from additional styles such as Afro-Cuban, Modern Bachata, Salsa On2, Salsa Caleña, as well as several Afro dance styles.
