Bachata music and Bachata dancing originated in the Dominican Republic. This dance has traveled across the world from its home in the Carribean Islands. SCT teaches two styles of Bachata: Dominican and Sensual. Sensual Bachata is influenced by Zouk's body movements. This style is growing in night clubs and dance studios around the world. Both are focused on partner embrace and embellishments through footwork.
