Maria started partner dancing several years ago with Swing and Blues fusion and fell in love with Zouk at the start of 2018.

 

Previously, she trained for years as a competitive distance runner and classical cellist and aims to bring athletic strength and musicality from these backgrounds into her dancing.

 

Currently, she is training at SCT on the training teams, travels to congresses on the West Coast, and is preparing to compete in upcoming Jack and Jill competitions.
