Beginner Salsa Classes: Back to the Basics:

We are proud to add a 102 series to our curriculum. As we expand and improve we have found that the amount of techniques and patterns cannot be covered in one six week series. In order to get in everything we want to teach, we are now offering two 100 level classes. Both 101 and the 102 will offer both basic body movement and musicality training. With 101 designed for beginners and 102 designed for beginner/intermediate students.

Beginner Salsa 101

Truly one of the classes we are known for. Learn the basics of modern salsa partnership, footwork, lead/follow technique, spinning, ladies and men's styling, as well as, timing/rhythm! Starting from the ground up, this will teach you all the necessary fundamentals to get you dancing in any salsa club around the world. Prepares you for 102

Includes: Salsa Basic, Side-breaks, Back Breaks, Ladies and Mens Right-hand turns, Cross Body Lead (CBL), Inside and Outside Turns, Musicality, Cross Points, and much much more


Beginner/intermediate Salsa (102)

102 will be a step up from 101, teaching new foundations and techniques to better prepare you for a 200 series!

Includes: a variety of techniques for 101 students, cross body leads with open breaks, more advanced progressive turn patterns, hammer locks, and much, much more. The perfect class to prepare you for the 200 series.

Beginner Bachata

Bachata Series (Beginner Bachata class)

Our most popular workshop is now a six week series!


Intermediate Salsa Classes:

Note: In order to enter these series, we require the ability to: Execute all 3 directions of Basic. Ability to dance eight 8-counts solo, staying on rhythm. Lead/follow with one of our instructors a: CBL, single R-hand turn, inside-outside turns.


Intermediate Salsa 201:

A continuation of 101. We will focus on turn technique, footwork, partnership, styling, and of course musicality. A great class to join for those of you with dance experience looking to perfect your basic, timing, and breakdown your movements. This class prepares you to join the 300 series.

Intermediate Salsa 202:

his series is the same difficulty level as 201, but with different material in partnership and styling for both leads andfollows. You may enter into either series or both.

In order to enter the 200 series, we require the ability to:
- Execute all 3 directions of Basic.
- Ability to dance eight 8-counts solo, staying on rhythm.
- Lead/follow with one of our instructors a: CBL, single R-hand turn, inside-outside turns.



Intermediate/Advanced Class:

Advanced Salsa 300:

Advanced Patterns and Styling Advanced patterns and styling, this class, taught by Vassili and dance-partner Christina, This class is the next step up from the 200 level. The 300 series takes us from intermediate to intermediate-Advanced. Instructor approval required to enroll.

Intermediate Ladies Styling Class

With Seattle’s own beautiful and talented Christina Walker. Ladies, learn to dance with passion, style and grace. This class focuses on moving and controlling every part of your body. We will be working on body isolations, turns, and sexy shines. You will be given the tools you need to improvise on the dance floor, and develop your own style.
A great addition to the 200 series.

Salsa con Todo Bachata Bachata Bachata Series combining all new Zouk and Tango techniques into Bachata. Instructed by Vassili and Christina Walker.
The dance everyone wants to learn! We'll show you what to know about embrace, framing, turn techniques, and lot's of new moves.

We offer various special topic workshops. Our Bachata workshops are offered on a monthly basis. We rotate through the other topics. See the Schedule page to find details on our upcoming workshops and Email to register.

Footwork

Getting flustered when your partner breaks into styling. Learn how to polish your moves in our footwork class. We'll work on timing, hitting the breaks, and lot's of sabor.

Musicality

What is Salsa music? How did it start? How do I find the 1? Ever asked yourself these questions? The answers are all in our musicality class. Here we'll show how to really apply Salsa music to your dancing!

Bachata

Our most popular workshop! We'll show you what to know about embrace, framing, turn techniques, and lot's of new moves. Spiced up with flavors of tango!

Ladies' Styling

Ladies' styling, footwork, and more.  No men allowed.

ChaChaCha

One of the most fun dances out there. We'll show you the basics, timing, and lot's of sassy styling!

Partnership on2

You've learned everything about dancing on 1. Now put yourself to the test and learn how to dance on 2. We'll show you how to find the two, how to make it musical, and how it can really challenge your dancing.

Private Sala Lessons

Our instructors are available for 1:1 private instruction, as well as with a partner or in small groups. Please email salsatodo@gmail.com to schedule a private or with any questions.

Our Salsa classes are different.

A Salsa dance education from Salsa Con Todo goes far beyond the classroom.

Each component of our curriculum has been created to develop you into a well-rounded dancer and inspire your individual education. We focus on all aspect of Salsa dancing, our Salsa classes focus on everythig from technique to styling to understanding rhythm and beat.

NOTE:

Everyone learns differently. Because we want you to get the most out of each class our students repeat each series until they are fluent in the material and ready to move onto the next level. See our Schedule page for Current Series info and see our Calender for subsequent series info.


Tuition

Tuition for all 6-week series is $80, for all six - 1.5 hour classes. You will receive our tuition payment information when you register at salsatodo@gmail.com or call (206) 402-2945.

Workshops are $20 each (typically 1.5 hours) unless otherwise specified.

Attire

Come ready to work out and dress comfortably, no bulky street shoes please.
Light sneakers or dance shoes, we recommend jazz flats (for women and men).

Discounts

Salsa Con Todo proudly supports the Salsa Club @ UW. Salsa Club members receive a 25% discount on all 6-week series classes ($60 tuition).
Pre-registration and ID of club membership is required.

New Promotion! If you're a current or previous SCT student, bring a friend to class, and receive a 25% discount ($20) on your tuition (only valid once, this must be brought to our attention during e-mail registration).
